August & September 2021
Fall Leaf Tour 2021! Our first outing since March 2020! We had a bus full and had a great time looking at the beautiful leaves and seeing homes where a couple of our residents used to live… it felt great to get back to “normal”! 
Happy Grandparent’s Day! What better way to celebrate the love of grandparents then to decorate their doors! Take a peak at how much love is in our home! 
These last 2 months flew by!! We brought back crafting in August! Fall leaves, and wishes for cooler weather!

Operation Horse’n Around with Jenn is a HIT! Our caregiver, Jennifer and her husband brought huge smiles to our resident’s faces when they brought their horse in to visit. Our residents cycled through and pet the beautiful creature! What a great treat!

Father’s Day Fun. What better way to celebrate Father’s Day… then with a good ol fashion fathers day bbq! (And messages of love!) 
CNA DAY! We think we have the BEST team around! Thank you to all who left notes of thanks and appreciation and snacks for our team! 
Happy 104th!!!! Wow, 104! Not only did we get to celebrate our sweet resident… we all got to gather on ONE floor for the 1st time in 15 months.. the beginning of a return to a new normal! And, how could we forget that the temperature was 104 on a 104th birthday!

Mother’s Day Love from our Families! Thank you to those who sent flowers! We enjoyed our favorite lunch (fried chicken and mashed potatoes) together after Mother’s Day 🙂 
Happy Cinco De Mayo! WOO HOO!!! We are at the 100% vaccination rate! The Department of Health has allowed us to ALL EAT TOGETHER! It was a great day when everyone was able to come out and eat in our dining room! 
Happy May Day! Wow the year is flying by ~ today we got together and made May Day baskets… and a few flowers ended up in our hair.
